Air Fryer Cookie Bars

Ingredients:

• 110g butter, melted
• 90g light brown sugar
• 50g white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 Tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp horlicks or malted milk powder
• 150g flour
• 110g chocolate chips
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 9x7 inch baking sheet, with a lip, suitably sized for your air fryer

Method:

1. Grease and line a 9x7 inch. baking tray (or one that will fit your airfryer) then set aside. 
2. Whisk together the melted butter and sugar, then add the egg, vanilla, and Horlicks/malted milk powder, beating until pale.
3. Fold in the flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt until there are no streaks of flour left. Do not overmix.
4. Press the cookie dough into the lined baking sheet. Bake in the air fryer at 160C for 22mins. You want to slightly under bake these bars for a chewy cookie bar as it will continue to cook as it cools.
5. Allow the cookies to cool in their tin, then turn out and cut into squares. You can store them in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
