Hot Cross Bun Bake

Ingredients:

  • 9 mini hot cross buns 
  • ½ tub premade custard  
  • 1 bag werthers originals, blitz into small chunks using a food processor 
  • 20g of butter  

Method:

  1. Split and butter each of the hot cross buns.
  2. Pour half of the custard in the base of a roasting tin, then scatter half of the blitz werthers.
  3. Place the hot cross buns into the dish then pour the remaining custard around the buns.
  4. Select Bake on the air fryer and set the time to 12mins and temp to 160C.
  5. With 4mins to go, add the remaining werthers until melted.
  6. Serve immediately
